My job as a football coach

Experienced football coach. My job is to lead training sessions, provide in-game motivation and advice, develop game plans. My skills are to identify the individuality of each player and provide individual guidance where required.

My love for the game of soccer leads me to transmit excellent sportsmanship to the players. Footballers need to be highly motivated, committed, disciplined and patient.

My responsibility as a football manager:

• Conduct research and analyze previous matches to develop game plans, tactics, techniques, formations and strategies.

• Organization and scheduling of tryouts and selection of potential players.

• Determine the capabilities, strengths and weaknesses of individual players and feed them into gameplay and strategy sessions.

• Ensure the football pitch is available for training sessions and players arrive on time.

•  Establish rules and regulations and make sure players know them.

• Organization of team building sessions and off-pitch activities.

• Promote good sportsmanship in all team players, resolve disputes and address bad behavior in a timely manner.

• Identify outstanding players who could be scouted for scholarships and to play in professional leagues.

• Ensure all sports equipment is available and in working order.

• Encouraging players to participate in other recreational sports and to live a healthy life with a balanced diet.

My soccer coaching requirements are:

• Sports management qualification obtained at the University of Salento (Italy)

• Appointment of university professor in sport sciences.

• Many years of experience in sports coaching.

• Passion for football and deep knowledge of the game.

• Strong managerial, organisational, motivational and strategic skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
